Head chef Sandra Flock (right) oversees the kitchen at Sandras Catering and is the creative force behind the many original gourmet dishes we prepare. An avid cook since she was just ten years old, Sandras early influences included the Cajun cuisine of her grandmother as well as the Italian dishes of a long-time family friend. By the time she was a teenager, she was writing her own recipes and helping her father run their popular, Italian family restaurant in Orange, California.
A move to Jamaica followed a few years later, and Sandra was soon operating the Pimento Cove resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which added an Island flair to her cooking. It was in Jamaica that Sandra created her famous and ever-popular Island Sauce. Returning from Jamaica, Sandra worked as a consultant for a number of restaurant ventures and as demand for her tasty and inventive recipe creations grew, she founded her own catering company, Sandras Catering.
